Google Contacts: How to import contacts

Your Google Contacts can be easily imported via our CSV Importer.

Here's how:

1. Export the contacts from Google
   1. Go to Google Contacts: Navigate to https://contacts.google.com/
   2. Select contacts: Choose the contacts you want to export.
      • Single contact: Check the box next to the contact's name.
      • Multiple contacts: Check the box next to each contact you want to export.
      • All contacts: Check the box next to any contact, then click "Selection actions" and choose "All" from the top left.
   3. Open the export menu: Click the "More actions" icon (three vertical dots) in the top right corner.
   4. Choose the export format: Select "Google CSV" from the dropdown menu.
   5. Export the file: Click the "Export" button. Your file will be downloaded to your computer.
2. Import the file to AskNicely
   1. In your AskNicely instance, navigate to App Store > Integrate > CSV Importer
   2. Click the Configure tab
   3. Drag and drop the Google CSV file onto the page
   4. Follow the prompts and instructions to import the contacts and optionally trigger immediate surveys to them.
