AskNicely’s Email to Survey feature can be used alongside Zendesk workflows to import contacts without triggering an immediate survey. This method is ideal if you want to manage survey timing using AskNicely’s Send Scheduler instead of sending surveys immediately.
⚙️ Step-by-Step Instructions
1️⃣ Activate Email to Survey in AskNicely

Go to App Store > Integrate > Email to Survey in your AskNicely account.

Follow the prompts to activate and retrieve your unique “email to survey” address.
2️⃣ Create a New Agent in Zendesk

Add a new Agent in Zendesk.

Use the AskNicely “Email to Survey” address as the Agent’s email address.
3️⃣ Set Up a Trigger in Zendesk

Navigate to Zendesk > Admin > Triggers.

Create a new trigger with the condition:
Status → is → Solved
4️⃣ Set the Action for the Trigger

In the Email Body, include custom data points (e.g., Name, Segment, etc.).

Pair each data point with the appropriate Zendesk Placeholder value.
