Our Palace integration is managed entirely by Palace. It is a 1-way integration where Palace uses the Bulk Add/Send API to put people into AskNicely; no information is synced back into Palace.

The key thing to note here is that when Palace and AskNicely are initially connected, a survey will be sent to everyone that meets the Owner and Tenancy Criteria, no matter how recently you have interacted with them; this being the case, it is important that you make sure the two parts of your Survey Template (the "Survey Start" tab and the "Survey" tab) are configured before this integration is connected.

Need to have multiple Survey Templates?
We recommend starting out with just the single "default" Survey Template - the question, "How likely are you to recommend [yourcompany] to a friend or colleague?" will always be relevant to both your tenants and owners. Our research has shown that adding additional Survey Templates will have marginal impact on the quality of the data generated by your feedback.
However, if you are trying to solve a specific problem or need different logos/wording in your Survey Templates, you will want to follow the instructions for Multiple Survey Templates in this help article; we specifically recommend using "Person Type" as your column to identify a survey template so that you can have separate Survey Templates for your Tenants and Owners.
