This article explains how to integrate PropertyTree with AskNicely to automate your contact imports and survey delivery.
📖 Introduction
PropertyTree (by MRI Software) is a cloud-based property management solution used by real estate agencies to manage listings, tenancies, and trust accounting.
Integrating PropertyTree with AskNicely allows you to automatically pull Landlord and Tenant data into your survey workflows. This eliminates the need for manual data entry and ensures that your feedback loops—such as those following an inspection—are triggered accurately based on your property management records.
Note: This integration is inbound only. Contacts are pulled into AskNicely, but survey responses are not sent back to PropertyTree.

To set up the PropertyTree integration, follow these steps:
Initiate Request: Contact your Customer Success Manager (CSM) or open a ticket with the AskNicely Support Team.
Coordination: The Support Team will follow up with specific technical instructions and documentation required to authorize the data flow between PropertyTree and AskNicely.
Data Mapping: Confirm with the team that you wish to import both Landlords and Tenants, and if you would like to automatically trigger surveys after an inspection.
-
Sync Configuration: * By default, the contact sync is scheduled to run at 5:00 AM (in the tenant's local timezone).
If you require a different sync time, please specify this during the setup process so our Support team can adjust the schedule.
-
Survey Automation: * If the survey toggle is enabled, Inspection Surveys are sent immediately upon contact import.
All other survey types will be managed via the AskNicely scheduler.
