🧘 Mindbody Online Integration

Let your clients do all the sweating while you easily connect your Mindbody Online (MBO) instance with AskNicely!

🧠 Know Before You Go

  • Clients, Members, Staff, and all other people brought into AskNicely will all be considered "Contacts"

  • Once integrated, AskNicely will begin automatically syncing Contacts at 9am local time. Be sure to have all of your settings in place beforehand.

  • The data fields Mindbody allows to be synced to AskNicely is fixed.

AskNicely works with two types of events:

  • Classes (automatically fall under "Sign-Ins")

  • Visits (can be chosen as a single Program type)

⚙️ Setup Instructions

  1. Go into your Mindbody Online Settings and copy your API Key

  2. Log into AskNicely and navigate to your App Store

  3. Search for Mindbody Online and click the corresponding link

  4. Enter your unique Studio ID or name

  5. Click on the Activation Link and verify within Mindbody Online

  6. View your Studio settings in AskNicely!

To connect additional Studios, repeat the steps above. To prevent activation issues, clear your browser cache between Studio logins.

📋 Available Lists

Depending on your Mindbody configuration, your Studio ID will appear as either a numerical value, a Location Name, or both. Refer to the Mindbody Help Center for more details.

  • You may sync any or all available lists by clicking on "Sync now".

  • If you choose to trigger surveys, make sure to create matching Survey Templates in AskNicely before syncing.

    • The Template Name must exactly match the name of the List (e.g., "Yesterday Sign-Ins").

    • Triggering will automatically send surveys once the sync is complete.

🗓️ Visits

  • Select a specific Program to represent your Visits List for Contact Imports

  • If you need to include multiple Programs, consider consolidating them into one for syncing purposes

Webhooks:

  • Visits and Membership Contract Terminated lists work using Webhooks

  • Webhooks allow AskNicely to sync each time an event is tracked

  • You must enter your Mindbody API key to enable this access
