Survey Reminders are automated follow-up messages designed to prompt customers who did not respond to your initial survey invitation. These reminders are threaded in the same email chain as the original message, increasing visibility and making it easier for recipients to respond without starting from scratch.
Reminders are an effective way to boost your survey response rates while maintaining a respectful, single-touch follow-up approach.

Step-by-Step Instructions
Before You Begin
Keep the following in mind when setting up Survey Reminders:
Reminders must be configured individually for each Survey Template
Turning on a reminder for one template does not enable it across your account
All non-respondents (even those who opened the survey email) will receive the reminder
Reminders are sent at 2:00 PM local time, based on your business headquarters

Days are measured in calendar days (not business days)
Example: A Friday survey with a 2-day reminder will resend on Sunday
For Email-Based Surveys
Go to the Survey Start page for your chosen Survey Template
Find the āEmail Survey Reminderā section under "Advanced Options"
Select how many reminders to send
Configure how many days after the first survey to send the first reminder. Then configure the number of days in between reminders.

Survey Reminders are intentionally plain-text to increase deliverability. This design:
Helps bypass spam filters and firewalls
Ensures a better chance the message reaches the recipient
Includes the original, fully-formatted email below the plain reminder
For SMS-Based Surveys
To set an SMS Reminder:
Go to the Survey Template main page
Select the template you want to configure
Click on the "SMS" tab at the top of the page
Use the dropdown to select the reminder delay (in days)

Tracking Reminders
You can monitor Survey Reminders via:
Dashboard > Reports > Statistics
Look for the āRemindedā column in the Statistics table.
ā ļø Important Note:
The āRemindedā column will show 0 until the day the reminder is actually sent.
Example: If a 7-day reminder is set, the Reminder count on the day the original survey was sent will stay at 0 until day 7.

Q: Will Survey Reminders send to people who opened the survey but didnāt respond?
A: Yes. Reminders go to anyone who didnāt submit a response, even if they opened the email.Q: Can I send more than one reminder?
A: Yes. AskNicely allows you to configure up to four reminders per survey. Configure this in the Advanced Options section.Q: Why do the reminders look like plain text?
