General Improvements
-
Score-Based Button Colors in Survey Emails: Survey email templates now support score-based button colours defined in the Survey Builder, allowing distinct colours for promoter, passive, and detractor responses.
-
Dynamic Domain Based on Location: A new “Sender Address” field has been added to Location management, allowing admins to define brand-specific email addresses at the team/location level. This includes:
- A prefix input (e.g., “info” in
info@domain.com
). - A suffix dropdown populated from the existing “Email Domains” configuration. The default value is empty .
- In the survey builder, there is now a “Use dynamic sending address” checkbox near the sending email configuration. When enabled:
- The sender address is overridden with the team/location-specific value (if configured)
- If not configured, the manually specified sender address is used as a fallback
- More info can be found on:
- A prefix input (e.g., “info” in
-
Team Selection in User Configuration: There is a new option on the user configuration screen, allowing admins to assign users to a specific team. This will be only visible if the account has “locations” set up. Users will be automatically assigned to a team when we can reliably detect a link between the user and the ‘location’ field based on responses.
- This is the first step towards a more robust system for handling team hierarchies and how they are displayed throughout AskNicely. The Team setting will be used in features such as Focus Areas, Team Scorecard, and anywhere where we need to deterministically identify what team a user is associated with. These changes will happen incrementally.
- More info can be found on: Managing AskNicely Users
- Download Responses Select/Unselect All: The response download modal now includes a “Select All” option. Checking and unchecking the checkbox selects or deselects all fields for download.
- Frontline Manager Dashboard - Scorecard Filtering: The Scorecard dropdown on the Frontline Manager Dashboard now only displays scorecards that are specifically associated with the current user.
- Frontline Manager Dashboard – Leaderboard Ranking Update: Leaderboards on the Frontline Manager Dashboard are now ranked by score instead of alphabetically.
- Frontline Manager Dashboard – Enhanced Dynamic Praise Detection: The Dynamic Praise algorithm now analyzes all comments within a dynamic survey response, rather than only the first.
- Frontline Manager Dashboard – Case Management Placeholder: The Case Management component is now always visible on the Frontline Manager Dashboard, even when no cases have been created. When no cases have been created, tailored messaging will be shown to encourage managers to start opening cases and highlight the benefits of using case management.
-
Frontline Manager Dashboard – Sorted Praise Actions: Praise actions on the Frontline Manager Dashboard are now sorted to better reflect impact and relevance. For each user, praise actions will appear in the following order:
- Dynamic praise
- Most improved
- Most promoter responses
- Frontline Manager Dashboard – Full Name Display Update: The “Welcome Back” message now displays the user’s full name instead of just the first name.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed Decimal Places: The Frontline Manager Dashboard now correctly respects the configured number of decimal places for each metric throughout the dashboard.
- Fixed Rounding Issue on Team Scoreboard: Fixed an issue where topic rating scores on the Team Scoreboard were being rounded incorrectly.
- Mobile App Teams Screen: Fixed a rounding error when displaying CSAT metrics.

General Improvements
- New User Permission “View Contacts Page”: There is a new permission at the user role level called 'View contacts page'. This allows users to view the contacts page without granting full Send or Admin permissions. Bulk import and bulk delete contacts will not be visible for users that have only “View Contacts Page” switched on.
- Download Responses: Implemented a new modal for downloading responses which now allows you to select which fields are included in the downloaded CSV.
- “Same Survey Template” functionality on Schedulers: The “Same Survey Template” rule in schedulers will now include contacts who haven’t received this specific survey template, even if they’ve been sent other templates.
- Frontline Manager Dashboard:
- Recommended Praise: blank responses will be excluded when selecting a response to highlight.
- Leaderboard: the leaderboards will be hidden when there is only a single row of data
- Detractor Actions: the detractor cards will now show a placeholder when the customer name is empty
-
Scorecard: when no scorecard exists for the current user, the scorecard will fall back on a question with the
topic
key if it exists (support for older surveys).
Bug Fixes
- Case Sensitivity Fix on Trend Report: fixed an issue where values in Insights boxes (like Outlet Codes) were incorrectly changing case. Now, all values will retain their original formatting
