New Permission Toggle for AI Insights Access
Admins can now control which users have access to the AI Insights feature. A toggle against user permissions enables admins to restrict or allow visibility of AI Insights reports to specific user roles.
Actions Button
A new "Actions" button is now visible on the AI Insights report. Users can click this button to download and delete a report.
Delete Report Option
Users can now delete AI Insight reports directly via the "Actions" button.
Other Improvements
Optional Email and Email Hash Fields in Web Surveys
Email and email_hash are now optional fields in the Web Surveys code. As a result, when setting up a Web Survey, users can now choose whether to collect respondent email addresses (hashed) through the Contact Lookup question or allow anonymous responses in web surveys, depending on survey requirements. This aligns with the flexibility available for survey links.
Segment Field Added to Survey Links
The Segment field is now available in Survey Links for pre-populating custom data fields, providing greater customisation of survey links.
Contacts Page
- Sending a one-off survey to a contact should now correctly show the send channel in the toast notification (i.e. SMS or email).
- Users can now filter the contacts and download the filtered list of contacts.
Bug Fixes
- Microsoft Teams Integration: Answers to Open questions that were not the
comment
question should now correctly display the text rather than a sentiment rating. - Dynamic Surveys Comment Pre-population Issue: Resolved an issue where the response to a comment question following an AI-generated question was pre-populated based on the AI response. Comment questions now require independent responses.
- Case Management Report: The Breakdown dropdown in case management is now visible to non-admin users. The breakdown field dropdown should now only show fields that are set to 'Visible'. This should match the field list in the filter menu.
- Fix to Responses Count in Filters: Resolved an issue where the response count in filters included some historically deleted responses. The count now accurately reflects only active responses.

Shareable Insights
The AI Insights Report now has a new "Download" button, which allows users to easily download their AI-generated reports in PDF format.
Reduced Clicks
First-time users of AI Insights no longer need to click "GET STARTED." They can immediately select breakdowns, apply filters, and generate insights, simplifying the process.
Pivot Field Changes
The "Pivot Field" button has been renamed to “Insight Breakdown” and moved next to the "Generate Insights" button, making it more obvious that selecting a breakdown is a required step.
More Insights for Breakdowns
We've increased the number of insights displayed for breakdowns. Users will now see more insights at the bottom of the page after selecting an insight breakdown, expanding beyond the previous limit of three.
Renaming Reports
Users can now rename reports more easily by clicking directly on the report name. Alternatively, hovering over the report name will reveal an Edit button, allowing users to rename it with autosave functionality.
UI Improvements to AI Moderation
Response Card Improvements
We have refined the "Moderated by NiceAI" display on response cards:
- Moved the magic wand icon to the top and removed the redundant "Moderated by NiceAI" text from the bottom of the card.
- Aligned the styling with the Dashboard > Responses feed for consistency.
- Added the magic wand icon next to the "Moderated by NiceAI" label in the view response modal.
- Updated the text background with a soft highlight for better visibility.
Other Improvements
Location Count Display
We’ve added the total location count at the top of the locations table for easier reference.
Bug Fixes
Dynamic Surveys
Fixed an issue where the first comment in a dynamic survey was not copied properly for the review request when NiceAI was used in the last comment question. This is now resolved.

Improvements
AI Insights
- Dynamic Surveys: Now summarizes all comments from dynamic surveys, rather than just focusing on the “comment” question.
- Filters Displayed on Reports: Filters selected to generate the AI Insights report are now displayed at the top of the report under “Summary”.
AI Dynamic Surveys
- Enhanced Survey Score Identification: AI now has a better understanding of the scale used for CSAT and Fivestar surveys.
- Conversational Mode Set Up:
- The question text box is hidden when "Use conversational mode" is enabled to ensure clarity, as it may not always match the actual question.
- Note: If you wish to keep a static question then you can add a static “comment” question above the Dynamic Survey section. The first question from the AI will consider the response to the static question.
- The UI to select the number of questions after enabling "Use conversational mode." has been improved.
- Streamlined AI Responses: Reduced verbosity and shortened the opening statements for a more efficient user experience.
Other Improvements
- Clickable Case Management Report: The primary column in case management reports is now clickable, allowing users to view the detailed responses behind every number.
- Improved Scroll Detection: Adjusted scroll logic in the Questions section on the dashboard to ensure all questions load correctly.
Bug Fixes
- Notifications: Fixed a scenario where unread notices or shoutouts could generate additional notification emails to the user.
- Dynamic Surveys: Responses will now be listed in the order that questions were asked.
