During the Discovery Process, some listings will require verification to confirm they belong to your business.
Verification ensures that Reputation Manager only tracks listings associated with the correct business and location.
This article explains how to verify your listings and where to find unverified listings.
๐ Why Verification Is Required
Verification is required so that:
Only listings that belong to your business are monitored
Incorrect or unrelated listings are excluded
Reporting and reputation tracking remain accurate
Listings will not begin monitoring until they are verified.
๐ How to Verify Your Listings
If you have just added a business:
1๏ธโฃ Go to your Timeline.
2๏ธโฃ Look for verification requests.
3๏ธโฃ Click the green button if the listing belongs to your business.
4๏ธโฃ Click the alternative button if the listing does not belong to your business.
Once verified, the listing will begin to be monitored.
๐ Viewing Unverified Listings
You can also locate unverified listings in the following ways:
Option 1: Listings Section
Navigate to the Listings section.
Review any listings marked as unverified.
Option 2: Listing Profile Page
If a listing has not been verified:
A notice will appear at the top of the listingโs profile page.
The notice will indicate that the listing is unverified.
You will have the option to verify the listing directly from that page.
