🎯 Introduction

You may need to stop managing (remove) a listing in Reputation Manager for several reasons.

Removing a listing only stops it from being managed within Reputation Manager.
It does not affect the live listing on the internet.

🧾 Common Reasons to Remove a Listing

You may want to remove a listing if:

  • The listing does not belong to this business

  • The listing is a duplicate

  • The listing belongs to this business but should be managed elsewhere

    • Example: A Twitter/X listing that represents all locations rather than a single location

⚠️ Important

Removing a listing:

  • Removes it from being managed in Reputation Manager

  • Does not delete or change the listing online

However:

Once removed, all associated data will be deleted from Reputation Manager and cannot be retrieved unless the listing is added again.

Follow these steps:

1️⃣ Go to the Listing Profile Page.

  • You can access this by clicking the listing in the Presences List.

2️⃣ Scroll to the bottom of the page.

3️⃣ Click the button "Stop Managing this Listing".

4️⃣ Confirm the removal.

The listing will be removed from management within Reputation Manager.

You can add the same listing back at any time by submitting it again through the standard listing addition process.
